Who We Are
"...for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live."
Who We Are
As a group of Sabbath observing Christians we have many origins. In times past some fellowshipped with the Church of God, the Seventh Day Adventists, the Church of God 7th Day, and for some this is the first Sabbath observing congregation they have attended. Our common bond is our belief that the Sabbath Day is the day God made for man as holy, set aside for a special purpose, a day for congregating, worship and fellowship.
The Judeo-Christian Scriptures, the old and new testaments, inspired by God, are our guide and our rule for life, prosperity and happiness. We embrace an intellectual freedom that enables growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and beliefs that move us Godward.
We have a leadership structure of Biblical Eldership; we do not have offices or titles of minister or pastor. All men are created equal. Jesus taught us to be servants, not to exercise authority over one another.
Our congregational teachers are men, though women lead and teach in other roles.
Our music is a mix of contemporary praise & worship music and traditional Christian hymns. It varies on different days.
